Abstract

Behavior problems in children between the ages of 21/2 and 9 years that are disturbing to mothers are treated in a time-limited, structured therapeutic program. Mother and child are observed and mothers are instructed for the purpose of acquiring a greater and more effective interactional repertoire.

The instructions are based on the observational data, and are given by the use of a one-way wireless intercom.
