Dr Swartz is right. We recognize the talmudic nature of the interaction over diagnosis. I think we can say with little fear of contradiction that when research demands this kind of behavior, we will not be discovering how to split the atom or find the gene.We are glad that Dr Swartz let us off so easily and did not question our scholarship.
