Errors in Title, Author Degrees, Key Points, and Abstract

JAMA Surg. 2018;153(7):692. doi:10.1001/jamasurg.2018.0903

In the Original Investigation titled “A Model for Sustained Collaboration to Address the Unmet Global Burden of Bladder Exstrophy-Epispadis Complex and Penopubic Epispadis: The International Bladder Exstrophy Consortium,”1 published online March 7, 2018, there were typos in the title and errors in the author degrees, Key Points, and Abstract. The title should read “A Model for Sustained Collaboration to Address the Unmet Global Burden of Bladder Exstrophy-Epispadias Complex and Penopubic Epispadias: The International Bladder Exstrophy Consortium.” There were errors in the the degree listings for Rakesh Joshi, Dhirendra Shrivastava, and Jaishri Ramji. These authors’ names and degrees should be listed as Rakesh Joshi, MCh, Dhirendra Shrivastava, MCh, and Jaishri Ramji, MCh. Finally, both the Key Points and Results section of the Abstract refer to 57 patients included in the analysis; in the Key Points, this should be “53 patients”; in the Abstract, the first sentence of the results should read “Of the 57 patients, 4 were excluded because they underwent ureterosigmoidostomy. Median age…” This article was corrected online.
