To the Editor We read with great interest the article by Bergeat et al on the postoperative complications associated with nasogastric tube decompression (NGTD) after pancreaticoduodenectomy.1 It is a well-conducted randomized clinical trial that adds valuable evidence to the literature on the necessity of postoperative NGTD. However, we have some concerns.
