Acute Pancreatitis Secondary to Calcium Infusion in a Dialysis Patient

A case of acute pancreatitis associated with hypercalcemia as a complication of a calcium infusion test, which was used for evaluation of parathyroid gland function, occurred in a chronic hemodialysis patient. This complication might be seen more frequently as the test is used more extensively.
