The 4th edition of this major textbook on vascular surgery with Dr Haimovici as the editor-in-chief is a collaborative effort with 4 respected and well-known vascular surgeons as co-editors: Drs Ascer, Hollier, Strandness, and Towne. This major vascular reference has an attractive cover design and is outlined in 1400 pages, 10 sections, 108 chapters, and 106 contributors. The latter group constitutes 'who's who' in vascular surgery in the United States. The foreword by C. Rollins Hanlon, MD, is characteristic of his penetrating style. Almost every blood vessel in the body comes under the purview of this impressively documented textbook.

This book covers recent improvements in vascular technique, diagnostic imaging, and creative management skills.
