Error in Abstract

JAMA Surg. 2022;157(4):362. doi:10.1001/jamasurg.2022.0067

In the Original Investigation titled “Long-term Outcomes Following Kidney and Liver Transplant in Recipients With HIV,”1 published on January 5, 2022, there was an error in the Abstract. In the sentence “Patient survival was 60.3% (95% CI, 49.0%-74.1%) for HIV-negative LT recipients, and 65.3% (95% CI, 54.4%-78.2%) for HIV-positive LT recipients at 15 years posttransplant,” the patient survival and 95% CIs were updated so the sentence now reads “Patient survival was 75.7% (95% CI, 71.8%-79.8%) for HIV-negative LT recipients, and 70.0% (95% CI, 60.6%-80.8%) for HIV-positive LT recipients at 15 years posttransplant.” The article was corrected online.
